Brad Williamson
Brad Williamson founded and operates Williamson Commercial Real Estate (WCRE), a full service boutique commercial real estate firm that specializes in acquisition, disposition, asset management and raising debt and equity. Mr. Williamson has over a decade of diversified commercial real estate lending and private equity investing experience. Mr. Williamson has successfully underwritten, structured and closed over a billion dollars of commercial real estate transactions consisting of both debt and equity both as a team member at a Fortune 100 company and a boutique private equity group.
Prior to founding WCRE, Mr. Williamson worked as a Director for Tate Capital, a real estate private equity group that specializes in investing and managing opportunistic real estate properties including acquiring distressed debt, redevelopment and new development. Mr. Williamson was involved in the acquisition originations, underwriting, disposition and development of over a half billion dollars of commercial real estate that included over 2.5 million square feet of retail, office, multifamily, hotels and bulk condominiums across the United States.
Prior to working for Tate Capital, Mr. Williamson worked as an Associate Director for GE Capital Real Estate, North American Debt. While at GE Capital Mr. Williamson successfully structured, underwrote and closed over $750 million of commercial real estate debt and completed analysis of multifamily, office, retail, industrial, self-storage, and hotel properties totaling in $15 billion in asset valuations. Mr. Williamson also worked as an analyst for GE Capital Real Estate where he supported 8 asset managers in both the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Mr. Williamson assisted in managing and valuating over 300 assets totaling 2 billion in value.
Mr. Williamson received his MBA in Real Estate Development at NOVA Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and his B.S. in Finance at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is an active member in commercial real estate organizations such as ULI, NAIOP, and ICSC.
